    Nothing (like other OEMs) should focus on improving the primary camera experience rather than adding additional cameras. Most people benefit from high quality point and shoot photos more than periscope or wide angle lenses.

      i hope (but dont expect) 3a size will be smaller than 2a

        "all the previous Nothing handsets went with dual setups" yea cuz having a quad camera setup with 2 or 5mp macro and depth cameras is the same as having a dual camera setup. Those sensors are manufactured ewaste and don't belong on phones that respect themselves

And is not an old chipset, having mature 4nm node from TSMC plus A720/A520 cores. These make great battery life, and it isn't power starved either. Of course it can't match Dimensity 8300 or Snapdragon 7+ G3/8s G3, but is a great option for midrange phones and I'll take it any day before Dimensity 7000 series.

              Nothing Phone 3a, Phone 3a Plus, and the CMF Phone 2 are said to be in the works. The phones were also spotted in the IMEI database earlier this month. Most recently, camera specifications and other details of the unannounced Nothing smartphones have surfaced on the Web. The Nothing Phone 3a is tipped to come with a telephoto camera. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, whereas the CMF Phone 2 could run a MediaTek SoC.

                3a or 3a+ should be using 8s gen 3 not these old ass chips. The 7s gen 3 are somewhat equivalent or with a bit improvement compare to the current Dimensity chips on the 2a and 2a+.

                      They didn't put in their high tier phones , i doubt they would put telephoto in the midrange.

                          I don't think the SD 7s Gen 3 isn't that much stronger than the MTK 7200 Pro. I looked it up on Mobile Processor benchmarks website. In fact the 7350 in the 2a Plus is stronger? Is this a step back?

                              I have a theory that they might use the Dimensity on the Phone (2a) series only to avoid 7s Gen 2, which is made by Samsung, lol. I remember when Carl brought this topic on one of his videos where he himself claimed that TSMC-made chipsets were more efficient than Samsung-made chipsets.

                                  Sadly no news on Nothing phone 3.

                                    This couldn't be the Nothing 3a. Shouldn't these specs be the ones for the Nothing Phone 3 and 3 Plus, the flagship phones?
                                    Such specs can't fit with such a budget.
