Shame the phone won't be available outside China. Guess I will have to import it. Aside from the broken updates on my last Vivo from Tradingshenzhen, it was the best phone I ever owned. Sad I had to return it.

In your dreams, Kid. Much better package than Xiaomi. And not x months without updates - like Xiaomi.

We can supporting it by writing comment without actually buying the phone. They may have low sales, but atleast we look cooler by writing multiple supportive comment.

So, if the phone only sold fewer number, it is because of the low quality and mediocre features from the phone itself.

punmeisterone, 27 Dec 2024Not to mention that with two 1/1.3" sensors (UW and Ma... moreOkay, digging a bit deeper it seems that the reason why Vivo is ditching the 1-inch sensor from the main camera is that they want to have a 35mm lens for the main, with a 70mm lossless zoom capability. This is joined by the 13mm ultrawide with a 26mm lossless zoom option.

This should be a pretty nice touch as the X100 Ultra's gap between the main camera (23mm native/46mm lossless) and the 85mm zoom lens was pretty big.

A 35mm lens with a 1-inch sensor would've definitely been very nice, but that would make the phone into an absolute brick like that almost 20mm thick ZTE Nubia Z50S Pro prototype.

Assuming Vivo gives them all the same Apertures and some form of Optical or Sensor-Shift stabilization for the Ultrawide, which they used to do back in the day where they equipped their half-inch sensor ultrawides with gimbal systems.

And speaking of the Ultra, DCS has tipped it (along with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Oppo Find X8 Ultra) to come with a 1/1.3" main camera, 1/1.3" ultrawide and a 1/1.4" periscope zoom.

Most likely a pair of Sony Lytia LYT-818 for the main and ultrawide and an upgraded Samsung ISOCELL HP9 for the periscope zoom.
