Anonymous, 01 Jan 2025The GT6 has a 2x telephoto, not 3x.Which is my point that the sensor can do up to 3x but Realme deliberately made it weaker at 2x perhaps to upsell their other Oppo/OnePlus or just their 12/13pro+

13R if is having a 2x telephoto, can also been seen as deliberate so that they don't undercut their OnePlus 13's sale

            Trust me, i tried a lot of them.
            Pictures are very usable up to 10x.
            Nice video too.
            Went for Realme becouse of great screen and battery.
            Other than that, GT 6 also have great main sensor, same as OP12.
            Seems to me that it is a bit better than 13R, but we'll have to wait and see.

              Battery capacity being lowerd is not for a completely unknown reason.

              Same as Realme lowered citing regulatory reasons in India, OnePlus seems to have done it globally instead of having a separate variant for India.

                And now go away from dollar store ultrawides

                    2.5x optical zoom is nothing telephoto-dedicated when almost all other ordinary phones can do the same. Xiaomi 15 Pro already can do 5x, Vivo X200 Pro does 9x~14x and Vivo X100 Ultra does even 20x. Unless R in 13R stands for Retro or even Retarded ?

                          They didn't learn from the global GT 6

                            Will it be possible to take macro shots with this set of lenses/sensors? I think not :'(
                            I might be in the 0.1%, but I'd find more use for the ability to take macro shots than having a 2x telephoto.
