The SE would of made sense when they take the mini and rename it to SE or just E
Cause the SE was smaller then the iPhone standard 6.1 inch screen body size. Now the SE or E will be same size then standard iPhone

The only awkward model will be the iPhone 15, which has older SoC, less RAM, no Apple Intelligence, but more expensive than this 16E.
How can the 16E be cheaper? Lower grade components. The 16E will be using cheap panels from BoE.

Only Apple could be as deluded as to increase prices when the global economy is slowing and struggling as much as it has been and expect sales to maintain themselves out there. The justification for terminating the mini series was sales yet does anyone really believe the plus series at a far higher price is doing any better with a 60hz screen?

i don't understand the apple's pricing on that one. apple sells unlocked iphone 14 for 630 USD now (US). 16E with its A18 and 8Gb RAM looks like a much better option for a lower price. the lack of 12MP ultrawide doesn't really make up for the difference with iphone 14 which comes with A15 and 6Gb RAM. that means there must be price cutting decisions for 16E, like lower IP rating, plastic body or something else.

would rather buy 2 pieces of the oppo a 5 pro or add a little more to get 2 pieces of the realme neo 7 which adds up to a batterstaggering battery of 14000 mah with a super fast charge rather than this obsolete phone
