I try with my 3 last devices, Oneplus, Xiaomi, Oppo on 2 différents car : Android Auto worked fine each...
i dont disagree on that. possibly 95% cases, AA works well. rest 5% dont and thats a huge number.
Unless you analyse the source code of the phone and find the mistake in it, you can't affirm phone is the problem...and true, I can't affirm it's your car
that is the ultimate goal, right? analyze the source code to see if there is an error there. nah, i would rather have iphone and be hassle free.
anyway, i generally switch on my android phone just for some taste change, and though the AA isnt working, i would keep it on for now and after a month or so, would be back to the iphone. i am not hater, i like both for what it is and have both.

It's simple, it's logic !

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2025How can you know the half backed software isn't in...y... morebecause mine is a brand new car recently delivered. connecting every time I use my office iphone or my personal iphone. if the car works well with my iphones, then my car should be out of the equation. I asked a friend of mine who has S24 Ultra, he has similar issue ( not always though, sometime). so its definitely the problem with android auto.

My phone doesn't connect half the time to android auto, never have a problem with my iPhone. AA can't even transfer voice calls over cable, must connect with Bluetooth too. Iphone does smooth.
Cheap old components? Any day better than non functioning new tech.
