Passable for Instagram 1080x1080 sharing but no way professional photographs

Okay, is it just me or did the pics blow up bad when you zoom into them? I did and it just became grainy and not at all what was expected.

Yet in SL we don't have a official Oneplus retailer

Sachiintha, 08 Jan 2025Don’t blame the manufacturers at all. Most of the well-know... moreThey deliberately inflate the prices to keep things exclusive, and they don't even provide that level of quality. Look at what happened to McDonald's. They left the country because their partner Abans couldn't maintain international hygiene standards.

Nice photoes of Sri Lanka. Thanks for sharing.
The picture quality is lacking some contrast it seems.
How dare you go on a ship in such bad weather. Be careful.

Its lovely that you guys visited Sri Lanka with the oneplus 13. But how can a regular Sri Lankan like myself purchase the phone without an authorized dealer here in SL?

Great quality, a lot of details, no noise. Why my samsung is so noisy?

Sachiintha, 08 Jan 2025Don’t blame the manufacturers at all. Most of the well-know... moreIt's even funnier when you look at iphone prices. The variation between the same storage model is almost $50/60 depending on where u buy it

Minu, 08 Jan 2025How are the prices after grey importing? Most of the grey i... morelower than what places like Abans or Singer charge for them even with similar warranty, I got a 1 iii 3yrs ago grey imported for around $750, previous was an Xperia 1 that was also imported since sony left the market the previous yr (2018) that was through eBay though.

Unpopular opinion but it looks nothing special. Like yeah, it can take pictures and well..ok?

Don’t blame the manufacturers at all. Most of the well-known big resellers in Sri Lanka are money-hungry. They sell a $150 device for nearly $300 here. Maybe OnePlus didn’t get a good deal with any big resellers in Sri Lanka, and they don’t want to damage their brand.

You can see Realme and Moto devices are available in Sri Lanka, but look at their prices. Only Realme C-series devices are available, and they cost a huge amount. Similarly, Moto only has cheap G-series devices, but their prices are inflated.

These brands are unintentionally damaging their reputation here because budget phones are sold at upper midrange prices. You can expect a budget phone to lag in the future after buying it, which harms the brand's image. The resellers take a huge profit margin on top of the device price and VAT.

Even buying budget device is a luxury thing in this country.

Most of the grey imported phones are above $400 for the base models alone with a minimum seller warranty. Also, which phones do you own or have used?

I've gotten used to importing by now, good thing the major carriers don't really care about device types so that just makes it easier

Not bad at all. Not as good as the flagships from Vivo and Oppo or even Xiaomi's Leica authentic processing but way better than the processing from Samsung, Apple and Google.
They do tend to oversaturate when the white balance is a bit warm. Also, telephoto doesn't seem to handle moving stuff pretty well.
