It was really a lot of cases, it made Oneplus panicked and launch screen warranty program to cover the news about greenline showed on Google, but it was too late..nobody prefer chinese flagship now..
Thats why people prefer to buy Samsung flagship, and samsung has successful sales compared to sales of chinese flagship.

Just insert keywor... moregreenline issues on chinese phones are less frequent to be documented. unless they dropped the phone from two or three stories. samsung may intentionally warming up the device by cranking the screen brightness to the maximum during an update. hence making users to shove their phones into fans or even an air conditioner to prevent this.

Just insert keyword on Google, by writing (Xiaomi/Oppo/Huawei/OnePlus + greenline) on search bar, and please dont surprise with the result.
Also, two things for sure ... you get bloated battery and pop up advertisement as features of Chiness flagship.
Not to mention, chinese flagship also comes with mediocre UI since first day if purchase.

let alone cheap phone like Poco that will run with expired security patch and old android version after 1-2 years of usage.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2025No amount of support will make a trash budget perform like ... moreyes and no, I've met some people who bought Chinese phones that run out of support after 1-2years, but that was 2016 era, the version stopped at android 6 and most payment apps couldn't run on it. But nowadays the app compatibility is way better back to Android 9-10. Nonetheless the specs and price are bad, people would still buy it cuz it's their comfort UI. I have a Tab A9 running G99, I wouldn't call it lag but it runs app slower, which most of the less techsavy couldn't see the difference.
