June? So if it ever goes global, it will be in what, September? lol This is why Samsung and iPhone keep getting their inferior phones to sell millions around the world.

There are even fewer options for you than for consumers who want a regular/smallish sized phones because obviously, manufacturers consider you an even more insignificant market lol

But now phones are all screen, clicking the top screen and navigations buttons, bottom isn't as easy as it was

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2025Anything above 6.0 inch is NOT mini. The problem is that 6.3" is the smallest you can go without sacrificing on hardware. Below that 6.3" you should be dealing with having a petite battery (not even Silicon-Carbon can save face), an inferior chipset and probably a single camera.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2025Some here thought it would be different from vivo's mi... moreI personally wouldn't want a mini phone because I much prefer phones with a 6.3"/6.4" display. It's still extremely bad that smaller phones aren't being made, because there's clearly some amount of demand that isn't being met. It's always good for consumers to have more choices, and to complain about that makes you sound authoritarian and displays to me a clear lack of theory of mind. Not everyone is as huge as you (or maybe that's just a fake disguise you put on because you're insecure about your size), so not everyone will find phones that large comfortable to hold. Hell, I've seen many men who like/liked using their iPhone minis, and not all of them have small hands either, so it's not even just about size.
A more competitive smartphone market would allow for lower barriers to entry for companies, and there would be brands that made smaller phones. There's currently almost no small phones, and exactly zero mini ones, precisely because the market is uncompetitive and dominated by a few large companies. These monopolies have no incentive to make smaller phones, because people will buy their phones anyway as there isn't any meaningful competition to sway customers away to a different brand.

Height changes with screen format. Even with same diagonal.

Hanif Fikri, 03 Jan 2025It's not just about screen size.. dimensions plays the... moreThat's why I based all of this on the assumption that all phones use the standard aspect ratio 20:9, and that they have very thin and symmetrical bezels. Obviously a phone with a 5.5" display that is 16:9 and has extremely large bezels that are asymmetrical is not going to be a mini phone.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No one is going to make phone as small as iphone 8 or 13 mini.
Give up.
Those that complain no small phone is available, did not buy them when they were. Always making excuses.
