They have mostly the same hardware, with 6.67" 120Hz OLED displays, 50+8+2MP cameras and 5,800mAh batteries.

    combining a mid omnivision sensor with a cheap 5G processor with horrid ISP inside is a big disaster. i wonder why manufacturers are still using dimensity 6300.

                WW3, 07 Jan 2025Finally, no more ugliest design from reno 12f.indeed, i think oppo is improving. but sometimes not. 12F can straight go to the bin. ugly design yet has cheap specs. no image stabilization as well lmao, even vivo V40 lite/Y300 beats the 12F.
                reasons there are people buying it because of the pushy salesperson. when you talk about the camera tests they usually prepare videos and photos that is shot from an iphone.
                i've seen reviews about the 12F and it's got the deserved backlash. due to its poor cameras, which is comparable to galaxy A05, downgraded storage, and cheap 5G chipset offered by mediatek. yet being sold at 5 million IDR!!!

If you consider how they're making revenue by simply overpricing their phones for negligible improvements, it would make sense for this phone to have SD 7 Gen 3 instead.

Why did Reno11 F use Di... moreMaybe to elevate the Reno F series as one of the difference between the vanilla Reno 11 and Reno 11F is indeed the telephoto lens of Reno 11 that was absent in Reno 11F. But after vanilla Reno 12 removed the telephoto lens, the differentiation falls into the chipset territory, hence the downgrade chipset tor the Reno F series to D6300.

                                      They also have global reno13/13 pro pages up. They got autofocus ultrawides in midrange before samsung.
