If your phonefor some reason no matter the brand gets bricked, breaks or get driowned etc and repair will be too high anyone will rather buy new device than pay several hundreds for repair.
So all phone manufacturers which arent scary of their own technology should give equal years of warranty to years of updates.
If Kia can give 7 years for their cars why phones can have 7 or 10 years of warranty.

          Never was against A.i in a phone but with Google as the only real integrated (sonewhat / only with their own apps) solution, I'm notdown with it!!

Rather I said it's the worst of the Chinese skins that I have used which means I prefer the others. Translation is my main bug bear. I live in China so the translation is a very practical feature. With Xiaomi's translation you have to effectively take open the translation software, take a picture of the screen and then translate and then you have to go through the same process again if scrolling down to the next part of a webpage. With for example Color OS or Origin OS you can just scroll through pages and translate instantly as you scroll which is great if you want to read Chinese articles or use Chinese apps (e.g food delivery and online shopping apks). Also, my phone camera often completely freezes on Hyper OS with a snapdragon 8 gen 2. I bought the Xiaomi 15 as well but returned it as well and another thing I noticed is that Xiaomi is still way behind on new AI features (aparently they will add them later thoug as they weren't ready when the phone was launched). Anyway, I realise that the translation thing is not important for many but if other brands can do it properly I don't see why Xiaomi can't. By the way, have you actually tried the symettrical speakers on the Honor Magic 7 pro? I have and in my opinion they are definitely better than the Xiaomi 14 ultra which I have also tried. Like you said, maybe it's personal preference. I had the Xiaomi 10s before and I still think that was better than the Xiaomi 14 ultra. It just had more powerful symetrical 1016 speakers.

              Great, another useless bloatware ai crap that no one asked for, google assistant may not be always accurate but it's so much better and more reliable

Xiaomi's got the best speakers in the game rn. They're not speakers that'll wow you with their consumer-oriented sound but because they have something that sounds closest to what speakers/headphones. I'm not downplaying your opinion, i think audio/video preferences are completely subjective. But all im saying is that Xiaomi's speakers are goated on an objective level due to the fact that their speakers are tuned really well AND mostly due to the fact that they basically have no distortion.

                My point was that I would rather go through Xiaomi's horrible battery than Honor's mid software/cameras. But man, you also reminded me of something far worse, the horrendous notch. I don't care about 3d face unlocking, the notch cheapens the whole phone. I'm ok with someone saying my phone is a chinese one, im not ok with someone calling it an iPhone clone 😭😭 i mean i myself call it an iPhone clone lol

                oh and you're right, i was also thinking about the X200 Pro. It's just better than this phone in every way for me apart from perhaps the speakers and some people might really want SD but for the most part the X200 Pro is just a better buy if available and the Oppo is also an excellent buy and is also a better cameraphone than the Honor imo. The speakers on that phone aren't that great tho.

                Why are you so mad at HyperOS tho? Translation features? Like what exactly is so bad im curious, i've tried midrange xiaomis and apart from the iOS-like look, i don't really find them offensive.

It's much cheaper than the launch price of the Xiaomi 14 ultra even in China and it will also be in Europe. I'd ignore the rsr as it's a waste of money. Definitely the Xiaomi 15 ultra will have a better rear camera system overall but the magic 7 pro has much better speakers than the Xiaomi 14 ultra and likely the Xiaomi 15 ultra too and 3d face unlock so it has a couple of unique features. I'd prefer the Vivo x200 pro though for the cameras over the magic 7 pro. The Xiaomi 15 ultra will be quite a lot more expensive than the magic 7 pro. The Magic 7 rsr doesn't make a lot of sense really for the price at all. I'd much prefer Honor's software to Xiaomi though. I think Hyper OS is the worst of the Chinese skins I've used. There translation features drive me mad they are so backward

                      Not interested in the Magic 7 Pro after I learned the fourth camera lens is literally a dummy one. That's shameful for a $1000 phone. I've seen the teardown video, before anyone tries to claim otherwise.

                        Honestly i'd rather buy a Xiaomi Ultra than an Honor one, if they're priced match. I just don't think Honor's cameras or the software are really upto the mark

                        but good on Honor for always trying to give the AI features. Normies will love it.

                              Just another bloatware which could should and would do better if it will be optional.
                              Just like any UI etc.
                              Pure android experience is best, no laggs, no mess no throtling etc.
                              Nice clean phone with minimum apps inside so all phones can feel anew.
                              All phones from all brands should come with this.
