I've seen more than one case where one chip had better results than another chip in benchmarks, and yet the chip with the worse results outperformed the chip with the better results in actual gaming.

SD 6 GEN 3 OR 7S... more"Far better" SD fanboys are delusional, you get 0 (zero) CPU improvement as the CPU design and architecture are exactly the same, and did I forgot GPU? Adreno 710 is weaker than the Mali G68 MP5 of the Exynos 1380, ofc, games are more optimized for SD chips, but that's another story. Efficiency wise? Both are manufactured at Samsung foundry, so the opinion is up to you.
The only real improvements are maybe modem efficiency and games cuz of devs not caring to optimize anything that isn't an Adreno GPU.

Crappynos isn't that bad for their entry level and mid range devices man, come on. They could still compete in that segment.

SD 6 GEN 3 OR 7S... moreIt's not, both manufactured by Samsung process, both have A78 cores, you will have minor difference here and there but overall they are same class so. Atleast D7300 and E1480 have Better Node hence better battery life and efficiency.
Ideal you need cortex A720 to get significant improvement over A78.

Benchmarks aside, Samsung + Qualcomm is usually a good combo to have.
That being said they should have used the 7s Gen 3 at least. But they seem to avoid any TSMC made chipset as long as they can.

vik457, 08 Jan 2025What? Motorola moto g75 is out for few months and has 6 gen 3.Sorry, I edited that at the last second so I couldn't explain it all.
Apparently, when a chip is out only on 1 device, and that device is a Motorola, there isn't much coverage or info on its performance outside the useless benchmarks like antutu (they don't reflect anything useful for real-life usage).
I at least hoped Notebookcheck would've reviewed the device inhouse by now (they test game performance properly, average fps included) but no, only external reviews.
