Anonymous, 08 Jan 2025Vivo and Oppo are both owned by BBK.Nah. BBK is gone, deregistered. It was only an investment vehicle though even when it did exist. Had no influence over the daily operations and management of OPPO or VIVO even before when it did exist. Some people here seem to think BBK was sitting in an oval office making all the decisions for OPPO and Vivo. That was never the case and it's widely known in China

6.31 inch they called them a mini? That's still a huge smartphone! Come on guys it should be a smaller than that. I think, it should be around 4.5 - 5.0 inch and that is called a "mini".

Phone companies still can't figure out how to make a proper small phone. They tone down the dimensions a bit but again increase the screen to the biggest they can fit 🤡 That does NOT solve the problem. A 6.3 inch screen is still very big but since they want to play it safe, they fail to make a true small phone. Only apple has done it right so far
Apple can revive the mini line-up and the battery issue will be fixed with the new battery tech, but again, Apple will prefer to bend the knee for big screen buyers, because profits 💰 🤑

Vivo and OPPO are separate companies and competitors. Now OPPO (or its subsidaries) have no 6.3" phone so they don't have anything to compete with the Vivo x200 pro mini or the Xiaomi 15 so they need to launch one to avoid losing more ground to their competitors Vivo and Xiaomi as the 6.3" phones are selling very well in China

WHY?! Why same sh***y optical FPS, like in 200$ Pocos and stuff like that?
Let me guess, even in same sh***y location close to the down border.
They literally make much-awaited compacts with great displays and GOAT Si-C batteries, but cut 10-20$ on an ultrasonic FPS. Seems like base S25 is for me this year.
