I bought the 512gb version in black for $750. That seems like a very good bargain considering this has the bands needed for US carriers. And I'll get a free OnePlus Watch 2 which I'll likely resell on eBay or Swappa.

Apple equivalent: iPhone 16 Pro Max 512gb $1,399
Samsung equivalent: Galaxy S24U Ultra 512gb $1,319
Google equivalent: Pixel 9 Pro XL 512gb $1,319

justasmile, 07 Jan 2025Brand new vs usedHow does the S24 Ultra have better specs????

$1000 for a 3rd rate BoE panel? LOL. OnePlus, you’re drunk.

Scon88, 07 Jan 2025Tarrifs are paid by the consumer not the country or company... moreShame on you then for working in the industry while not understanding the basic concepts. Tariffs are payed by importer (typically the company that imports a product) and then are those costs effectively transfered on the consumers through the increased price. So essentially there has to be an importer company that will pay tariffs as an importer (oneplus usa or amazon) to usa, and then those expenses are included in the final price for the consumer, increasing it additionally compared to the home market of china. So yes, of course tariffs affect prices, its not like consumer can choose if he wants to pay them or not. By the time product is offered to him, its price is already increased.
