You can get a secondhand OnePlus 12 for about the same price as the new OnePlus 13R, and you get much better camera hardware and USB3 with wired video output. It's always difficult to launch a new affordable flagship with a previous-generation SoC when last year's premium flagship with that same previous-generation SoC retails for the same price in the used market.

Battery is the same as the ACE 5 the only difference is how they advertise it. Usable capacity in 13R and total capacity in ACE 5....

PureOS, 07 Jan 2025That is expensive. 250€ price hike is huge.Is that €250 more for the same configuration or from the base 8/128 model of 12R?
In India, as they mentioned in their Live Stream, they have kept the pricing same or rather I would say reduced as for the same ₹43000 it has now got 12 GB RAM vs 8 GB in the 12R.
Then the better Display, bigger Battery Size, improved IP Rating, faster Storage speeds and a Telephoto Camera sweeten the deal even further.
The GG 7i is a clear downgrade from GG Victus 2 of 12R but either way a Tempered glass is required.
Moreover, 13R looks better then 12R to me.

They messed up the pricing. People will either go for the iqoo 13 which offer several useful upgrades like sd elite, ultrasonic FP, better display etc or go all out on the OnePlus 13.
