        I Wish tcl would have these in the US. I was pretty impressed with the reviews and functionality of the Nxtpaper 50 phone.

          While these so called E-ink displays have indeed nothing to do with actual E-ink tech, they are doing a good job at mimicking it. I have used the Nextpaper 40 phone and I was impressed by the screen. It didn't look like an LCD and it did a good job at hiding the glare that is so typical for LCD displays due to the back-lighting. The only two issues I had with it was the lack of decent software support in general and the fact that the 40 series don't have bright screen (the latter was solved partially in the 50 series). If I would need a new phone then I would go for the 50 series phones without any hesitation (as I'm not that disturbed by the lacking software support). Oh yes, the used launcher isn't that great either but that's a question of taste and was easily solved by installing another third-party launcher so this is a bit of nitpicking from my side.

However where it sounds impossible based on the E-Ink Sony made Patent, now its Opensource I guess like artificial diamonds has surpassed actual one in all aspect kind of thing. I blame the Sunrise country for this misinformation.

                                IMPOSSIBLE there is no way e-ink can refresh that fast

                                  Would love a more premium 11 inch TCL tablet that's just a 4k OLED nxtpaper display and a good battery. I'd take that everywhere. Doesn't even need a good SoC or anything.
