        To many wringers 40 charging SD processor … thinner will be ok for majority ppl 7yr updates . Just colours and weight waiting on

It won't be the first time that an A-Series phone gets a new design and then gets adopted by the S-series few months later. The Samsung Galaxy S9 adopted the Samsung Galaxy A8's rear camera with fingerprint scanner underneath design a few months later.

Maybe more fluidity and minor stuff, but the possibility of the SoC being downgraded or get an equivalent to a previous generation isn't something to be proud of. At least, it won't be an e-waste.
