Giving more years of warranty does not hurt anyone or economy.
Why to have 7 years of updates if your device can die within a second year or few months after your device will breaks for some reason.
Noone will pay 500 or more repair cost for a flagship they rather buy new phone.
Phones with 7 years of updates are useless because no phone is guarantieeed to last that long. It have nothing to do with economy.
Its jujst another form of advertising.
Apple can bankcrupt??? How.
They make and sells.
Customers buy new and sells old. Even if 7 years of warranty plenty of people after 4-5 yers will rather sells their old device and buy new one than keep their one 7 years or as long as it keeps working.

If you're like 15 or 16, then I understand. If you're 20+, you better take an Economics 101 class.

    I'll answer some of your questions though. For one, companies don't usually manufacture spare parts of phones released 5 years ago. There's also a point where repairs don't make financial sense because your gadget won't work as intended anymore due to age, and just buying a new phone would be the smarter choice. If people didn't think the prices are fair and equal, they won't buy. Considering that people still buy phones with only a 1 year warranty, it is safe to say that people think the price and warranty is reasonable.

      thirteen, 13 Jan 2025What is your question exactly?my question is why companies cant give equal warranty in years to years of updates for hwat sake you have 7 years of updates on A16 for example when its hardware will not last 7 years. Maybe 2-4 at most and then what will you pay expensive repair every so while when your phone stops working???
      What about something like S24 ultra. Its hardware should be good to last 7 years of updates.
      But should does not mean its 100% true and noone nor even Samsung can guarantee you that thus they give only 1 years of warranty just like Apple, Google and many else only EU citizens have 2.
      There is no reason to give more years of updates if you dont get more years of warranty.
      If for example your Apple, Google or Pixel io mention only devices with 6+ years of warranty for some reason starts bricking or stop function you have to pay expensive repair.
      This expensive repair can be anywhere between 300-800 euros.
      Another question is will you pay this price or rather you buy new device with new warranty and more years of updates.
      Ask your self.
      Anyone reading this ask your self.
      All i want is to befair and equal.

                If your phone starts bricking or gets faulty after your warranty goes off for example S24 Ultra will you pay 400-700 eur repair or you get new device???
                Ask your self whats better.
                And nobody is panicking.
                A company which cant give years of waranty equal to years of updates is bad company because it does not trust its own technology.
                Even someone expensive as Apple, Google or Samsung does not gives outside of EU more than one year of warranty only EU citizens have 2.
                A 2000 eur device which for some reason gets damaged when your warranty goes off is bad device. It should not happen but every single day accidents happens.
                Just said what i thinking my point of view.

                    A company which dioes not trust its devices bear no honor and thus shouldnt be so popular.
                    For example Kia gives 7 years of warranty for its cars. Why phone manufacturers cant give more???
                    Why??? Thats a serious question. Even the most expensive Apple outside of EU gives only 1 year of warranty for a 2000 eur devices like 16 pro max 1TB.
