That remaining 33% from "Others" companies are still worth it to be shown. Hope they'll show the Top 10 OEMs not just the same boring top 5 brands again and again lol

Samsung marketing is really crazy.
Every fifth phone on the street is from them...
And at the same time, the price for value in Samsung phones is one of the lowest on the market. Especially seen in their middle and upper middle range.
Everybody knows it, almost everybody has something from them at home. The people just arrived to some phone shop or provider, and sellers are go right at them with Samsungs.
(I know, different ways of benefits to sellers, are mostly by Samsung...).
I'm glad I don't belong to this group, and whoever asked me for advice on choosing a new phone doesn't either.
In my family and with my relatives, you can only find Honor, Huawei, OnePlus and a couple of lower Xiaomi (when there was already a lot of pressure on the price...). Many of them also used Samsungs, but when I gave them advice or explained something, they were all very satisfied after the change.
:)

Samsung is like a protagonist character with insane plot armor. Like they have been in the top 5 since the 2000s.

Samsung barely holding onto number 1, I think they'll lose it this year due to refusal to upgrade the RAM of their phones to 16GB or big 6k mah batteries. Also their midrange offerings have been poor for quite some time.

Chinese flagship will literally not only compete with future S25 series, but also compete with the last 3 generation of Samsung flagship with far more cheaper price.
Not to mention, 1-year old S24 series still has longer software support than many newest chinese flagship.
Now i can understand, Samsung really did learn from Apple on how to increase flagship marketshare.

I did pick up a second hand Galaxy S23 yesterday for $150. It's blazing fast. Impressed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from 2 years ago. At least the Snapdragon SoCs have gotten better these last few years. We shall see what the Snapdragon 8 Elite brings.

I can imagine the main reason of declining marketshare of Oppo group was because the declining sales of Oneplus, because i believe many people in developing country still use cheap Oppo A series and Realme.
