Conclusion: percentage of increase doesn't mean anything, if it was being compared with low number.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2025Yeah..keep blaming Samsung because sure its good for your m... moreI don't care how many sales 1+ makes either. Even if they only sell 2 phones in a year, I want one of them to be for me. Right now, they offer the best hardware for me overall, the best software for me overall, at the best price for me overall. But that's my opinion. And I'm not going to shit on other brands in other articles. If you like to spit on others and that justifies buying your phone - things are not good. But I'm not going to keep quiet and read stupid comments. There are articles about your brand of phones, go there and brag to each other. Let other people enjoy their phones too. It's that simple.

Not sure how they did last year though https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/14/oneplus-sales-growth-2023/. I believe they did very badly in India in 2024 though. It seems that they have been doing badly in India but growing in China

Anyway the low sales of OnePlus is enough proof to show that most consumer has been punishing OnePlus for failing to make good product which is the main cause of OnePlus greenline scandal.
Punishment by consumer is already happening.

All I want is for everyone to look in their own bowl, and not shit in someone else's bowl. You all only caught on to my comments, but you turn a blind eye that they are in response to some forum troll who is clearly trying to make sense of his life and justify buying a phone by writing nonsense under articles about all other brands. In the third year, my 10 Pro started to have shadows on the display caused by a static image. Which is common with OLED Displays. Oh, my goodness, it's still Samsung-made. Is this another problem caused by 1+? And by chance have you seen me shitting nonsense under every article about Samsung? So Samsung fans can insult everyone else, but should all the rest of us applaud them?

Heis, 14 Jan 2025Haven't seen on OP11 and OP12? Yeah...ok. 🤦🏻♂️ Ma... morehmm interesting but which region are you talking about? Because Indian models of ALL Chinese phones are notoriously poor quality. I'd go so far as to say most Indian made products have QC issues, I've heard numerous complaints from bikes made by Yamaha, unlike Indonesian Yamaha bike users.

If you choose to blame Samsung, for the failure of OnePlus.
Make sure you also praise Samsung, for the fact that most chinese phone (beside OnePlus) that use Samsung display dont get greenline as much as OnePlus.

sdkk, 14 Jan 2025Well, yes, if a company produces a display of insufficient ... moreBut..but.. there are lot of chinese phone that use Samsung display doesnt get greenline, in fact majority of the phone (beside OnePlus) are perfectly fine.
Because they use Samsung display. Samsung has great role of contribution on many good phones. Right?
If samsung display bad, its samsung fault.
If samsung display good, its samsung achievement.
I am only using you logic.
Now i can understand why most people buy Samsung phone.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2025Yeah sure..because a bad quality of Samsung display is tota... moreWell, yes, if a company produces a display of insufficient quality, which often fails - it is precisely they who are to blame. If 1+ produced the displays themselves, I would blame them. Of course, many companies will use Samsung displays. After all, there are not millions of companies that produce such, and they also have contracts with each other. Thank God, 1+ has already changed its display supplier 2 years ago and the quality of their products has improved a lot.

Some chinese flagship are also using Samsung display for last few years anyway, but the greenline case is not as much as on OnePlus.
But hey i forgot, we need to blame Samsung. Together we are strong 💪

[deleted post]Oh no, it's not like that... Samsung makes pretty decent SSDs and TVs (mostly series). I generally only use them. But for the quality of their phone displays - there are still many things they can improve in their production control. Or are you expecting me to blame BOE for a defective Samsung display, maybe? 🤣🤣🤣

Heis, 14 Jan 2025Looks like a user named 'sdkk' is hired by OnePlu... morehe's not wrong, you say you're not a samsung fan but you're taking offense to it for no reason. Yeah, sdkk is quite biased but tell me he's wrong. I haven't seen greenline issues on Oneplus phones post Oneplus 11. It was the Oneplus 8-10 series that had the issue and everyone knew it was cus of Samsung. I know a number of people who use Samsung phones with greenlines and plenty of Apple users who have this issue as well.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2025OnePlus greenline scandal is really terrifying. Also, th... moreI just went onto Jingdong, China's largest online retailer to check reviews of the Oneplus 12. Over 200,000 user reviews (btw only users who actually buy the phone can post reviews on this site so all of these reviews are from actual users as it's not possible to post a review for a product if you haven't bought it). It's not like here where random users like yourself can post whatever nonsense they want under an annoynmous profile. 97% of them are positive with the remainder being either medium or negative. There are 3 categories of reviews. So I clicked on the negative reviews to see what the complaints were. I scrolled down through the first few hundred negative reviews and there is not one mention of a green line problem. Most of them are complaining about a lot of unrelated things. e.g. the design of the camera module as there is a little gap where it is not flush with the screen, price discounts. This is the most common complaint as people who bought it at full price are angry that some others got a discount later, heating whilst charging, not enough free wallpapers. These are just a select few but I did not find one complaint in the negative review about a green line issue. If there are over 200,000 reviews and I can't find one complaint about a green line issue I assume it doesn't have one. I follow most big tech channels on Weibo and this has never come up and they often raise issues about phones. I'm not saying there was never a problem in the past but on there current phones there is no issue. Can you give some specifics about where you are finding all these complaints. Have you had the issue yourself on a Oneplus phone and if so which model?

Heis, 14 Jan 2025Looks like a user named 'sdkk' is hired by OnePlu... moreNo, I'm not on a salary. I'm currently using a 1+ phone, I'm interested in this brand, I read articles about it and comment on what's happening with it. If you're OK with some Samsung troll shitting under every article about 1+, just out of spite, I'm not. Regarding BoE displays - there's no manufacturer whose displays don't break. So what?

Looks like a user named 'sdkk' is hired by OnePlus or is an employee of OnePlus who has been given a task of defending Green line related issues and bash samsung displays 😂
But this same user will have nothing to say if asked, 'what about green line issues on BOE displays of OnePlus?'
PS: not a fan of Scamsung btw, i use OnePlus device as well.
