These phones aren't really small at 6.3 inches, so I take exception to the term mini, LOL. But I guess they are small by todays standards. Having said that, the S24 is smaller than both of these devices and yet it's not called a "mini". I will say this though, the X200 pro mini packs a 5700 mAh battery in small form factor. I've never seen anything like it. That phone should have killer battery life.

          Asus, you only sell one variant of the Zenfone. Enough with the Ultra, it should be just Zenfone 12. You killed the small phone, accept it. Don't make anyone wishing that someday there will be a smaller Zenfone again. Or is it the case?

          Vivo took your spot with X200 Pro Mini to compete with the base S2x series and base iPhone, and sure it got praised everywhere. And yes, people do buy smaller phones.

I don't use it anymore because I need a phone with USB3 and wired video output alongside the Desktop Mode feature, which the Zenfone 8 didn't have.

              What happened to small phones? Asus should launch a zenfone 12 that's just like the 10 and then the ultra is the bigger one, cause they basically killed the small phone

                  Asus keeps on releasing failures this year.. Missing the Zenfones that only cost super budget friendly way back 2014s. I don't know where they want to be, the Zenfones now only has midrange camera level but they're charging S25Ultra/iPhone 16 series level pricing.

                    Glad I bought zenfone 10. I'll never buy a phone bigger than 6.1".

                      I still have my Rog phone 6 Diablo edition. It's a great phone in all the ways, and I love that it doesn't have camera bump on the screen.

                              Z10 sold like sh*t because they played their cards wrong when handling the unlock bootloader process for Z9 and that left a bad taste on users, along with just 2 years of software support.

                              I'm pretty sure this Ultra 11 and 12 are selling even worse, since they even disbanded the Zenfone team and are just rebadging an existing device (their ROG phone)

A triple cam setup SD 8 Elite phone with a 512 GB storage seems like a competent product. It's gonna slot right between the IQOO 13 and the Oneplus 13. The OP 13 would have better camera hardware/performance and the IQOO 13 is a bit more barebones, offering "only" 2x zoom. Realistically tho 700 dollars would be perfect for this phone considering the tiny UW and telephoto cams.

                                    Everyone's making fun of the IQOO 13 for its nerfed cameras but even THAT phone has better hardware, and most likely better processing as well due to it being a Vivo phone, than the Zenfone Ultra, LOL

                                        Still waiting for ASUS to make a compact Zenfone 12, especially with Vivo and Oppo starting to join the compact flagship club.
