Nokia is producing very impressive devices but the OS is slowing their match to profitability. If Nokia was using Android and making such caliber devices...there is no doubt they would be on par or seriously breathing down Samsung's neck. I love Nokia but i love Android more...i would like to pick up a Nokia device again but first they have to come over to Andy's army. Elop is doing his very best but there comes a time when he will have to decide to do the dual OS thingy or at least make a dual boot device Android and Windows. Steven so u know...many of us Android fans will pick up a well spec'd Nokia Android phone in a heart beat..mostly if it comes with pure view 41MP. Do it already and stop the tail spin.

If you want compare the specs vs the performance, try to compare the Galaxy 4 vs iPhone 5. Even a Lumia 920 can beat GS 4. Why ? Because Lumia and Iphone series are bragging about low specs with optimization so even a small spec can run smooth, while it is in the same level of performance Android Quad core and 2 GB ram.

When will these people ever learn ?

rpg, 20 Aug 2013"and as nokia is releasing 6" 1080p,it will look ... moreWhat Tony saying is, to have a very sharp resolution on a small screen is nothing but bullshit and will only drain your battery because for that size, the battery would be small. For screen of 5" and lower, 720P is enough.

If you want to have 1080P resolution, better to have something above 5". That way, you can see the sharpness of your resolution, plus you get extra battery with the phone being bigger due to the screen size.

AnonD-19153, 20 Aug 2013Fans said that dual core processor and 720p is perfect an... moreIf the buyers demand octacores and 1080p screens, Nokia must offer octacores and 1080p screens.
But anyway it's absurd to offer screens with more than 300 ppi and octacores if your OS runs O.K. with less specs: less battery duration for these CPUs, and less performance and less battery duration for this resolution.

Windows Phone don't need it, only the marketing zombie brains need it. You can try a Lumia if you don't believe it.

But for me, it's perfect. In the future, the phones will have 4K resolution, and 720p will be with a low-low prices! :-)

Why don't Nokia put Windows 8 RT in that kind of specs, then convert it into phone edition instead of tablet edition of windows 8 RT, I'll be happy if they made a real computer phone just like what the nickname of nokia n95

These hardware upgrades are just for stupid people like you. To attract you and switch to Lumia. Anyway, it's not Nokia's loss even if you won't switch.

Snapdragon 800 for what on Windows Phone 8?Why? Everything (whatever games are there in Windows market place) runs fine on dual core processor and at least 1 GB RAM and there's not a single game that fully utilizes the S800 processor in Windows Phone 8. Same story with Android. Windows Phone 8 runs smooth on dual cores, come on. Why waste battery by putting a quad core processor inside? Instead strengthen your OS which has been out since a year and nothing major feature has been added. Microsoft, come on, add those basic features to your OS which it is lacking today.
