When I unlock the phone... moreThis happens because of Huawei (EMUI) and Honor's Magic OS power management, to curb the late notification issue, got to settings - apps - find the app giving late notifications - power usage details - launch settings then turn off automatic launch management option, turn all three of the options below it on.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2025Most of the notifications are late. When I unlock the phone... moreI'm using Honor 200 pro (magic os 8) since Jul 2nd 2024, I don't notice any late notifications from WhatsApp and wechat.
However, I always received late notification for wechat on my Samsung A50. Notification was delayed more 6 hrs, or till i opened wechat. There is no delay for WhatsApp.
Even iPhone has late notification for wechat. So I do think it's wechat problem.
If most notification is late, i think it's the phone setting.

And I read others reviews about this problem. But I thought it would be fixed so I decided to buy the phone. Not a good decision

Do u receive late notifications for gmail? If there is delay in gmail as well, then i'd say either OS or setting is the problem.
