Steam Deck performance is better compared to Switch 2 (in handheld mode) but in docked mode, the switch 2 is higher. I still prefer Steam Deck to be honest, Steam discounts & side-loading Windows for work are more valuable to me.

They should be challenging the Steam Deck in equal time.
Unless they lift the preposterous copyright law, otherwise GabeN was right about Nintendo.

Switch 2 is basically an under-clocked RTX 2050 laptop coupled with a more efficient arm CPU, that lasts more than the 2 hours of a typical gaming laptop.
I would rather get a Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop (with RTX 2050) & be able to hook it up to a television or turn it into a gaming pc. (+ still be able to use it for work/school/editing)

The moment this is out in my market, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I can't wait to play Splatoon 3 in 60fps, I'm so sick of those many FPS drops and other games with my friends.

I like the polished design, very clean. Interested in the hardware specs and features, to see what they achieve this time. Hopefully it'll get dissected soon enough. The predecessor punched way above its weight for the specs it had.
Also it seems to be a late release. Maybe slated for summer? Or last quarter?

Hopefully the bigger joycons have hall effect or at least dualsense 5 quality analog sticks. if they do, i'll be getting a switch 2 the second people can homebrew it.
