    Did you even bother to check the difference between bargain bin USB 2.0 type-C and again just a basic 5Gbps USB 3.2 connector before commenting _"NoT wOrTh A pRiCe HiKe"_ ??
    (I can literally buy a pack of 3 (with 16 data pins) for $1.5 off Amazon!)

    Or, you know what would be a workaround though not truly a replacement, a fricking microSD slot, so that one can dump everything in one go, not to mention upgrade the base storage.

          But there's also the Xiaomi 14T series that is still on usb 2.0 format.
