while i dont like tiktok, i think banning tiktok is exaggerated. and tiktok has 170m users in US, lot of people doing content and making money from its, banning them gonna hit US already fragile economy. and democrats is so stupid handling golden plate for trump to do W moves. and he is winning election because he has higher young voters vote compare to his first term and tiktok is the main contribution to that.
bytedance need china goverment approval to sell tiktok, and i can already see china gonna use tiktok to negotiate trade wars. tiktok not really as precious as huawei, so handling to US and getting no new tariff is win for china tbh.

In the meantime info graphic is as it goes. It's really, really how you use it and learning ain't prime area of interest for most people. Yes we are getting more stupid every time we move from kraft work (doing it on our own) to automated to a point we forget to do it on our own or never learn. And yes it's hard (cognitive and otherwise) work to learn to do it; good, proper, efficient... You see the pattern. It goes up to basic social behaviour. Unfortunately only minority actually develop new interests thanks to it.
We already reached the level when technical is been considered as modern jewelry and there are concerns how tomorrow it could consume and enslave (by enormous amount of energy needed to upkeep and further progress it) us.

Some people might argue that people are dumber and more violent than they were decades ago. I don't think society is more emotionally intelligent.
