Considering it runs 45 FPS on 8 gen 2 that looks promising. 8 Elite should run more complex games from 2015 or 2016 without issues. Like GTA 5 on high settings

          Zero, 22 Jan 2025Xiaomi must pull it, in order to make the rest react, speci... morethe question is whether it is capable of playing more greedy windows games. black myth wukong alone eats 130GB+ of memory not including the content in the game. just downloaded 1 game, not yet 10 games, is the internal storage of the android smartphone still capable / especially real native windows games vs emulated games from windows when playing there is a difference. really playing windows games already has a handheld pc gaming. especially given storage usually directly 2TB

                  Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 series also uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, so I'd love to see a similar feature over there.

                    don't care for the android port as it's not a desktop system, a proper linux one where there is no longer a need to have windows to play games will be a big plus.

                                I hope that day will not happen. Winlator is just a bundle of multiple FOSS programs, it being more popular than its backbone; Box86 and Box64 is already bad enough and now you want "big company" to acquire it, potentially jeopardizing the already shaky FOSS space?
                                Besides, if any "big company" really want their own Winlator they can just fork it since it uses MIT license, which probably what Xiaomi did with this.

The 512GB and 1TB internal variants are rare on the market. Except for tablets, they may support micro SD up to 1TB
