Ahmad faisal berry, 4 hours agodo you want to buy. Vivo X200 ultra and Oppo find X8 ultra ... more
If they'd release the usually better specced China-only version globally then yes, those phones definitely'd make to my shortlist. I've found myself having held off on a smartphone purchase, waiting for the offical announcements and releases, only to be disappointed by the spreadsheetmarketeers-driven "sorry not sorry, China only version" statement on more than just one occasion. So major props to Xiaomi for giving that shortsighted mentality the proverbial finger.

Use their products like Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G. (* Regarding UI, each person's subjective opinion, Xiaomi Hyperos 2 needs to adapt again, buy a new Xiaomi product again. Unlike other Android OS UIs) Updated software is necessary. How can Samsung and Google Pixel give a 7 and 8 year software guarantee / Redmi Note 14 4G gives a 4 year software guarantee, it's quite good for an Android OS. Xiaomi brand, not a new brand anymore. The brand is already big, the company was founded in 2010 and now it's 2025. That means it's 25 years old, which means the company is no longer a kid. How can a company rely on cheap prices and continue to sell since the age of 25. Doesn't Xiaomi want to become a branded company and the most valuable company name in the world.

Yes 14 Ultra has a fogging issue. This was the main reason why we did not buy it.
Will not be buying 15 Ultra until it is clear that issue is gone, otherwise no money for you xiaomi again.

I see Xiaomi and vivo are mentioned here as reference camera phones.. remind me please - isn't one of the brands famous with foggy lens outdoors, while the other released special software to remove flash glare from photos due to bad hw design of the camera and led on the back?
Bottom line is.. careful with propaganda, guys!

And frankly to respond to some other comments, the quick OS updates, extremely tasteful UI (nice blend of iOS inspiration and OneUI competition feels like a happy balance) the speakers are loud and crisp. The screen is amazing. Charges in like 25 minutes from 0-100. Idk, I'm a nerd and many will call this *the* phone to beat from 2024....

If this is also a xiaomi generic 6.67" than their should be a 7" Ultra XL also

No 7 OS upgrades ? What a deal breaker.

With those ugly unnecessary big circle camera island, this phone gonna sell poorly outside china.

As a photographer (I own a Sony a7iii and zv-e10) I bought the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to have as a backup camera in case I have nothing on me. The files this phone puts out honestly rivals my professional cameras. It's not even a joke, I couldn't believe when I put RAW photos side by side. Sure a camera has better details when you zoom in far and you can shoot in more challenging conditions, but in medium to good light that phone absolutely crushes it, I can't believe such photos come from a phone and from all 4 cameras (the ultrawide is a bit softer when you zoom in though) so I bet the 15 Ultra already beat every other phone out there camera wise

Nick Tegrataker, 15 hours agoXiaomi 15 Ultra will have one of the most powerful camera h... moreLooking at the specs it seems that Xiaomi flagships have better cameras, but I've downloaded sample RAW DNG images from the internet and while the Xiaomi Ultras have vignette, the Samsung Ultras don't, so the camera modules in the Samsung Ultras are better quality than what are in the Xiaomi Ultras. Keep in mind that Xiaomi saves the vignette correction into the DNG files, so you have to view it in such a software where you can view the real raw image, I downloaded a plugin on windows with what windows photo viewer can display RAW images, but it is such a basic software that it can't show any modification, just the raw image itself. Vignette means that less light hits the edge of the sensor than the middle, so the Samsung Ultras' sensors are evenly lit while Xiaomi Ultras' bigger sensors aren't.

NFB-FB, 17 hours agoAwaiting for this Xiaomi and the Vivo X200 Ultra ... 🙏 🙏Good news. But Vivo X200 Ultra won't go global. Wish to see Oppo Find X7 Ultra goes global.

Cake, 17 hours agoHow do you suppose it will stack up against the Vivo x200 Pro? Will obviously be better hardware wise. It's an ultra after all. Apart from the new chipset and battery the Vivo x200pro is inferior to the Vivo x100 ultra in terms of hardware. Of course the Xiaomi 15 ultra will be quite a bit more expensive than the Vivo x200 pro too. On paper the cameras seem quite a bit better for the main camera and telephotos. It will also use the 200mp sensor but withhigher optical zoom than the x200 pro and will have an additional 3x sensor. However, Vivo has more experience with optimizing this 200mp sensor so only time will tell if the results will be better or worse. Personally, I'm more looking forward the the Find X8 ultra as I think it will have the most balanced camera setup of the ultras
