I also tempted and bought 2a as secondary when my Samsung A33 was fine . Later after couple of months realised that the basic features are missing in Phone 2a that leads me to come back to Samsung again.

You must be comparing the US$ price in 2024 with the Euro price in 2025. You obviously didn't read it properly and got completely mixed up. Check again Europe vs Europe. Zero price increase in Europe but with a bump in Ram for the same price and the latest snapdragon processor instead of exynos.

                          God it's expensive. Samsung might be better in some important areas like photography, but there's no way I'm paying more for Samsung than I'd pay for Iphone.

I was a huge Samsung fan for a certain period of time and to be fair they do have some good things that appeal a lot of people. But definitely not to the point where you losing functionality if you go with a different brand. They knew how to capture their market when it was the moment, the same as apple and weirdly enough people emotionally attached to those brands.
                                      But in this date and age. They aren’t offering virtually anything but a logo in the back of the phone. Samsung sell panels and doesn’t use the best displays for their phones, design wise-which is subjective-they are bland, apple owns its software and the only thing they do is walk on android footsteps. Ultimately, the logo alone does not make something special-feature wise, but a thing to show off.
