OnePlus Open is same price as 25+ and Ultra. Foldables are much more exciting and fun than slab phones.

And I thought OnePlus was smoking with the 13 price. No where on god's green earth a base S25 justify that price.
This should be,
1) S25 - 60K.
2) S25+ - 70K
3) S25U - 100K.
I will end up getting a 13 as soon as it hits a festival sale.

Hardware simply cannot be trumped by better looks. Better hardware is always better for flagships. Xiaomi 15 will be so much cheaper than S25 while having better hardware across the board.
Even I, as a nerd, do not keep on "customizing" my OS after the first few days/weeks. It is very unfair to dissuade people from better phones just by umbrella terms like "software" when the user isn't going to be doing all that like a nerd would. This is no longer the age of custom ROMs and all that (not that it ever became mainstream anyway).
OneUI barely looks any better than Funtouch does. Both are very dated. And like with every Android, no one should be using the stock Home launcher. If they are using the stock launcher, they simply don't care about the software, at which point, it is best they buy the better phone and not the "supposed better software" phone. Samsung thrives on such belief, and people like you fight their competition for them - so they can release the same phone for 3 years while charging more.
edit: lol, just remembered, OneUI doesn't even have an AppLock yet, does it? Nor can you disable Wifi/Internet access per-app. Is that better?

rizki1, 16 hours agoX200 Pro 16/512GB in India is 2000 INR more (launch price, ... moreFirst, the 512GB version of S25 is a very bad deal, you shouldn't even consider it, also most people won't have use for 512GB storage, now S25 256GB is 14k cheaper.
Second, S25 is a compact phone, as of now there is no competition for it in Indian android market except Pixel.
Third, funtouch OS is no fun. Not sure about others but software experience is most important for me in a phone after hardware.
You should compare Vivo X200 pro with s25+ against which is a good deal but only for people who must have best cameras and battery life and can compromise on other aspects especially software experience.

X200 Pro 16/512GB in India is 2000 INR more (launch price, current price might be cheaper) the camera, battery and everything kicks up the S25 and can even compete with the Ultra.
