I always use small flagships and I see no reason to upgrade my s23.i already have a chipset that far exceeds my needs.i have good battery life.i have exactly the same camera.i have all the AI goodies will receive the newest ones next month.even if I had an older phone and needed a new one,I would go for other small flagships like xiaomi 15, vivo x200pro mini or pixel 9pro.

none thanks. the ultra has been nerfed and the vanilla still has the pathetic 10mp tele. the plus is a big vanilla so no way might aswell get the ultra. seems that the best option is to get an an s24u or some other company's offering.

I got the S24 Ultra late last year, it got better looks but that's a personal preference, Bluetooth s-pen, good camera and good battery life (better than S22 Ultra). The S25 Ultra does not attract me at all. For me it's the most boring Ultra but again that's a personal preference. So I'll stick with my older S Ultra.

vik457, 27 Jan 2025Wait, you mean because of samsung refusing to change?Yes, a very similar situation to how Nokia was using Ni-Mh batteries, magnetic buzzers and green-backlit displays in a time where 16-chord polyphonic ringtones and colour displays were available. They didn't care to innovate until the first generation iPhone was introduced, though they ended up making a well-executed set of alternatives to the iPhones at the time (Meego, Symbian Anna and Belle phones) that ended up being axed because of the Microsoft merger.
I'm happy that my first phone wasn't a device of that time, but from a later time when they cared to adopt, though slowly.

All this vendors ask for same price ($600-1000) for the models with IPx8, gorilla glass and OIS. But I can mark a progress across Chinese vendors - they start to realize that smartphone is not the same product as flip-flops and it must have IPx8, gorilla glass and OIS at least.

OLED that's the worst display technology on planet earth.
Avoid anything with OLED inside like the plague. Buy IPS LCD instead. Your eyes will be happy.
