In a way perfect, but just to boring. And when they make a new model, 'all' that's changed designwise are some details around headlights. It's like a gorgeous girl you can't talk to about anything else but cooking, movies and fashion. The first thing that catches attention of most of buyers (including me), is the looks (and feel)of the phone, then we move on to accessories,..., compatibility and specs. As I said, concerning phone's use, most important for me is calling, taking photos, playing music via earphones (and some browsing). This has to be premium/hi-end, just because I know it can be done. The rest is just very welcome.

Expecting Honamy and the rumours, pointing to the fact that it might look basically like the Z, I went and checked the Z once again (I love Sony and intendet to buy it). The same dissapointment. Cheap plastic looks, cheap plastic feel. For example, Nokia N8 feels more premium, even though it has plastic buttons... and BTW, I bougt Note II for my GF, so correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that plastic complaint all about the cheap plastic cover? Once you remove it, the plastic feeling is gone. Replace that cover with a cover built from quality material, then what? BTW, by my opinion, S4 design is best design from top newer phones currently outthere - though the earphones are a joke (same goes for apple earphones - just compare them to the N8's WH-701).
Also, this article is about looks and design, not about the specs, and beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

this year, the top build quality phones are HTC One & Xperia Z only.

what's so amazing about this power button. its seems like every other power button. maybe if they made it out of some type of above average material, for example, pearl, sapphire, carbon fiber, crystal,that made it stand out from the crowd then that would show the that this phone was made for that special phone user

horrible picture quality, but hey at least you have a beautiful camera/power button! they want to go up against the big boys with a 4mp camera with no stabilisation? lol hilarious

If the Xperia Z's build is cheap, then I guess other phones like samsung must be down the toilet cheap. The only phones out there with build quality to compare to the Z are HTC One and iPhone, the rest are nowhere!
