The camera island is great for holding. My index finger right underneath it making holding a phone be very comfort.

I find it funny when people wants best from the camera and complains about a few additional mm bumps! Go buy yourself a slim phone then if that's what you want.
Having one single island for all lenses brings convenience.
It's really easy to clean the lens, just rubbing it with a soft fiber all around and done. When the phone has individual ones like in Samsung you have to do it one by one to make sure you get a clean shot. I always clean the lenses before taking a shot.
The rest is not an answer to the OP.
I never worried about the size or weight of the phone. I'm sure everyone would want it if they put more battery, better cameras, and more rigid design which can compensate the impacts from the dropping.
I don't know if it gets people's attention but we put the phone inside a protective case anyways. All that glorious shiny back panels, fancy designs, materials are just bullshit. I've seen a rare amount of people who use the device plainly and guess what was common? Broken displays, backpanels. They just keep using the phone broken like this.
Stop this bs and please push the brands to make rigid phone which can bear impacts.
There used to be additional offers like this then they stopped. Why we need to be fancy?
Eventually we all want to avoid that repair cost.
Eventually we all want the device to be running smoothly with no issues.
Eventually we all want to spend less and change the device less and less.
But no there has to be sth each time. Bs design choices, fancy glasses, fancy bs naming colors etc. I've seen 90% of the people using a flagship device with rugged impact resistance case. It doesn't look fancy anymore. You aimed fancy but got bored of your toy, cared about the money in the long term.

Vale, 24 Jan 2025I own a galaxy z fold 5 and this month I bought a Xiaomi 14... moreit's not the same, Samsung One UI is better polished, less power hungry. I'm using Xiaomi currently btw.

The software on both of them is almost the same, I don't know what your idea of a "memeUI" is when I made them look almost exactly the same and it took me 10 minutes. Companies: "popup cameras add a lot of weight, so they are not acceptable".
Also companies: add unnecessarily huge camera bumps with glass that adds weight just for looks, because cameras actually protrude in a small portion of the bump.

For example, they don't have the support of career services which Samsung and iPhones enjoy. They've got the negative propaganda of being Chinese spy phones (which every brand do but Chinese aren't allowed by west). They don't play smartly, they released 14 ultra in my country of over 200 million and went out of stock in just 2,3 weeks. After that they couldn't be found neither offline nor online despite huge demand in comparison to s23/24 ultra. Also going through the comments rarely anybody likes Xiaomi os. I wonder why don't they opt for stock android, then at least they'll be unique amongst the flagships in os also
