Honestly, wish they could have done without it entirely and dedicate that space to battery or camera hardware.
It’s such a gimmicky add on to an otherwise polished device. I bet users who like it are the same group of people that feature on uselessredcircles.

Samsung can't be that nuts to remove such a feature that makes their S Ultra series different from other flagships, even if they want to sell it separately in their future lineups it's not a good marketing strategy, I do hope that enough backlash can make them change their mind regarding this

Samsung wasn't as popular in 2018 so they couldn't reallly advertise theese features. Maybe they are planning to bring it back on the s26 and advertise it as a "new" feature
80% of people don't know that the spen has bluetooth since it hasn't been advertised and if they were to advertise it now they'd get hate for just readvertising a aleready here feature

The reason I loved the note series was everything in it especially the Spen. They've removed so much now including removable battery and adding memory to it via card but the last hurrah would be losing the s-pen! This is what sets it apart from other phones. If its gone, I will never buy another Samsung as long as I live. Don't be cheap! These are hard times. I speak for everyone I know who also have changed from an IPhone many years ago, to the note series for the Bluetooth pen.

ht1g09, 04 Feb 2025without the stylus, samsung ultra is a run of the mill phon... moreSadly not that easy. There are plenty ot styluses out there and many are precise and usable on any phone..but.. no noone is like Wacom. Also without proper software..
For handwriting recognition in multiple languages I still can't find SNotes replacement..
I don't think they will remove the stylus from Ultra, it's just that they went in milking mode this year. S series, foldable series (according to leaks so far) and most likely A series too (if it comes out with that underpowered soc). All are kind of old one, but slightly nerfed.

No s-pen = no Bluetooth = less radiation = less mutations on a cellular level.
