India won't get the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra

There is, however, a silver lining.

The best you can do today is, get a midrange phone with microSD alone, and keep a USB-C adaptor attached to your favourite 3.5mm head/ear-phone.

That's why, I always suggest Nord CE4 to people (got 2 people to get it) :- its got Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, that's SD870 matching performance, microSD slot is present and we can use USB-C for music needs. Not the best, but we can manage..

    Poco f1 had
    1. IR sensor front camera (you could actually use IR cam at night without any light).
    2. 3.5 mm headphone jack
    3. Micro SD card slot
    4. A Kevlar back option.
    5. IPS LCD screen with great longevity and it was flicker free.
    6. Great battery life compared to others of the same generation.
    7. MiUI was good enough compared to hyperOS if you like freedom of choice.

The next good phone from them was X3 Pro.

F5 has headphone jack support, but they have successfully unnovated (samtime reference in case you didn't get it) and removed all that would've prompted someone to choose their product (even if it is cheap).

I see no reason for poco to exist anymore.
    There's nothing unique about it.

Having an option is always better than being forced to give up on something.

aReefer, 29 Jan 2025So when will the F7 launch, and what will be its specs and ... moreJust look when was released F5 and F6 so you get some idea when the F7 be released. Also for F7 specs we get some idea when the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro come out as it seems that will be the phone that be renamed to F7

Also i dont think there be a lot difference in performance between X7 Pro vs F7 while the cost difference is pretty high. If you get the X7 Pro for something 350 euro something like 12/512GB version then the same for F7 be probably around 450-500 euro so will it be worth that extra 100-150 euro as the cameras probably also dont have much in difference in middle class quality. To have something 100k more in Antutu score dont make much sence for the price difference

Keeleri Achu , 29 Jan 2025The Xiaomi and their cousins POCO and Redmi always releasin... morePoco is still pretty cheap on what they offer especially with the X series Pro version. Standard F is also cheap for the performance you get that dont have a large competition like all the phones with SD 8 series be released.

Never mind that Redmi was never meant to be a flagship. Xiaomi Mi series that now is just numbers is their flagship series. Redmi is middle class while Poco is flagship killer middle class phones with high performance as their main selling point while cutting cost on camera. Poco also never was a flagship or wanted to be one. Poco basically started for the same to give performance for cheap price so people can get high performance for gaming but dont need to spend a lot. For 400-500 euro you get the standard F series that is already good enough to play all the games on max settings with no lag.

While flagship features are more expensive body materials, best on the market cameras and the latest best chip on the market. Poco just took away expensive premium build materials and flagship cameras to have this low price. Even tough the cameras on F series are still good middle class cameras

No need for phones without headphone jack, Poco F5 is enough.

Im sure they all are rebranded Redmi flagship , so india at the end will get these phones anyway .

Xiaomi and all Chinese phones software is the problem at that flagship price one expect reliable OS.
And OnePlus here competes with apple in overpriced replacement parts ,samsung is much cheaper.

Small brand like iTel and OnePlus are not preferred by most people. In some countries, iTel competes directly with OnePlus to reach 47th position of phone marketshare.
