Tt, 29 Jan 2025Ayooo as if chatgpt didn't plagiarise copyright protec... moreMore hilarious is the western news reports claiming they're "investigating" whether DeepSeek used OpenAI data when if you read the DeepSeek white paper it literally says they did use OoenAI and Llama (Meta) data.

Why do you need to investigate when DeepSeek openly says it? It's a nice piece of Western propaganda though.

Of course the irony of "Open"AI whining about copyright when they literally pilfered the internet and all the copyrighted material and is in court battles over that copyright material is way to funny.

I doubt that DeepSeek really wanted to integrate with Huawei chips. Might have been just forced to do it for influence. Better alternatives existed at time of implementation so why would compromise? The answer is clear.

This is like writing with a fountain pen and then changing to a ballpen, writing the same thing again, saying how great the ballpen is. It's nice that Huawei's chips are barely good enough to run this, but if they cannot be used for learning more, it's kinda pointless, no?
