Vineet, 23 Aug 2013Nokia Rules..you're right.. no other company is evolving as fast as nokia.. all the other companies are just riding the android wave... there's only a few that have the guts to step out of a gaurentee to try something new.
samsung's true success will show when they can out-do nokia with their tizen platform..they wont even become half of what nokia is with windows

More tiles? Really? Is this a joke? I thought the purpose of big colorful 3x4 tiles is to minimise the things going on on your screen so you can focus or get info at a glance. Useless update.

MS should realize the potential of convergence and act quickly on it. Convergence, as Mark Shuttleworth said, is future of mobiles. With awesome hardware coming onto mobiles, the day is not far away when we'll be carrying a mobile in pocked which on docking becomes a full fledged computer and we can play it like any Virtual machine. Microsoft and Apple are the only two mobile OS players that have major Desktop OS presence and they should cash it in. Google doesn't have desktop presence so if linux community doesn't support convergence for android then Android future is pretty much doomed. Even if Linux supports android there aren't many Linux users in Desktop world so android is gonna lose its steam anyways unless they come up with something miraculous. I am forced by Nokia to use Android, the day they decided to go with MS, WP is still shaping up and far from perfect mobile OS, not just Apps but multitasking is pretty much useless at the moment, File manager absence, Video player missing many codecs, Not many choices for third party web browsers etc. Probably after GDR3 update everybody will have fair Idea what MS is upto. And then i can consider WP for my next phone.

AnonD-41271, 23 Aug 2013Its highly unlikely that you will see a file manager in WP.... moreBut why? Why won't Apple and Microsoft decide to finally upgrade their phones to fully-feaured smartphones? I mean, WP8 is slightly more functional than iOS, but still none f these two is a true smart-OS.
