    Anonymous, 3 hours agoYeah I'm also excited to see I don't want to rain rain on your parade, but how a chip performs, including how hot it gets and how much power it uses, depends largely on how much money and time the company whose engineers design that chip are willing to invest in the damn thing. Yes, Google's chips will run somewhat cooler and be more power efficient when TSMC makes them, but in terms of how much Google is willing to invest, there's no reason to believe anything will change.

          i have bad experience with exynos, its lags after 2 years and battery is sucked like hell. so no more exynos

            It's a good thing that the pixels will no longer have this toaster this year.

              Midman, 9 hours agoStock cores are great if the right configuration is used.Of course they are great but one also knows that Qualcomm is heavily specialized in customization of cores, performance and efficiency wise.

                                It would be a real plot twist if they can pull of better performance scores and battery management than the SD Elite
