Microsoft squandered £1billion on developing Vista. It cost more to buy then the MacOS even though MacOS is used by a handful of uses.

Microsoft's success with Windows, has been bad for all PC users. As Apple would been the dominant force in the computing industry. They had better stuff then Microsoft.

Do I really need to be fiddling in the registry to fix or trying to get a driver to work.

Microsoft have so many different version of Windows 7, Home, Ultimate, Pro etc... and their top end Windows costs more then the MacOS.

I still use Windows XP. I have not found a reason to upgrade to Windows 7. It is just an excuses to make me buy another product.

            Dear Steve,
Microsoft will not be the same without you. (Yes! It will be different!)
Microsoft will never forget how well you damag... er... managed it. And the future generations will be looking at you for inspiration on how a person should not... er... should be!
Its such a sad touchy moment that I wish it passes away soon...

So, please hurry up and leave as soon as possible. :D

xxl, 23 Aug 2013Don't forget Windows Mobile, Zune, and the greatest disaste... moreyeah, i forgot zune. how many had been sold? 100, 200? i guess at least 50% where give aways to MS employees. the rest ballmer hid in his basement. man what were they thinkin?

than they had good stuff and ruined it. like the msn messenger. they killed it for skype. good move! -,-

another victim was hotmail which became outlook. have to enter outlook.com sometimes because i still have an importnat email account at MS. man, outlook today looks like hotmail after hannibal lecter chopped it up. the editor is pure horror.

ballmers qualities as a CEO - well, they doesn't exist. just a expendable person in history...

                    btw
i guess tim cook and ballmer are related is some way. they share the same "qualities"!

Congratulations to Steve Ballmer. He did a good job. Thank you. If i'll be the CEO then maybe i'll remove restrictions from WP OS while mainting the stability and security, will make WP 9 and Windows 9 the best ever OS, MSFT Office 2013 which will be compatible with all Microsoft Office editions, lifetime free usage of MS Office without needing to pay, make Xbox the best ever gaming console and last but not the least will buy BB and make BBM and Skype exclusive to WP OS.

Easy. Make me a CEO. I will convince them that Windows is a burning platform and that, in order to save themselves, they need to start working on a desktop version of Symbian, immediately. Payback time! :-)

Microsoft brought a P.C. to every home, but for windows a computer would have been an enigma for most people. Hats off for microsoft for making windows O.S. Being a co-owner of microsoft isn't any Less achievement for Mr Balmer. He is a much salutable, absolutely !
