I'm on android but only use spotify by the way, I was just wondering if they really made every feature available on the droid version.

It's funny: Apple music offers Hi-Res streaming but they have no Hi-Res bluetooth codec on iOS, while on android you can actually make use of it with LDAC and LHDC or SSC.. (at least if we don't take wifi streaming or 3.5mm adapters into account)

      Apple One Family which includes iCloud 200GB, Apple TV+, Apple Music for nearly $4 a month I have just subscribed. So long I use Apple Devices like iPhone, iPad I may need this and my family members can also use it. I like Apple TV+ web series like Silo, Severance but their movies listing is very limited so far

                  It can't even do playlist synchronization correctly. Expect for your playlists to not show up on other devices or sync as expected.

                  Artist pages also will not list all albums available, even if you can listen to them.

                    you have single music library which you can decide to sync with icloud or not.
                    just create playlist for songs from library.

                      with new purchase of tv we got 3 months of apple tv+, music, arcade free-of-cost after signing to apps on tv with apple account.

                      ps: you need to add payment method to that account and you can remove it after a week and cancel your subs just a day before or early as you like.

                          AnonF-1006353, 04 Feb 2025What makes the android app better?Simple things. For example, timer. I can set timer right in the app for Android version. On iOS, I have to use the iOS clock's alarm feature. It's more convoluted.

                          Also, iOS Music app combines Apple Music with your own library. Problem is, you can only opt one and not the other. If you want to sync your own music to your iPhone, you have to disable the Apple Music iCloud library. If you want to use Apple Music fully (download, set playlists, etc) you have to disable your ability to sync your own music. It's dumb.

                          On Android, it's just a streaming music app. Simple and separated from my own music . Easy, intuitive.

                          Seriously, it's an Apple service that is superior on the competing platform.

                                      Apple Music is great. I’d argue that the Android app is even better than the native iOS app. YouTube Music is annoying that it mixed YouTube videos into the search.
