If I was trolling I'd make up intentional logical fallacies to corner someone in an argument. Do you see any fallacies in my post? Did I argue with anyone? I was simply stating facts and pointing out flaws of AMOLED and those flaws are the reason why I won't buy a device with an AMOLED panel anymore. Maybe if you're a casual user on a 2 year contract then AMOLED is the right choice, but not if you're a hardcore one that intends to keep his phone for more than 2 years.

It seems to me that Microsoft goes down the drain. Surface demonstrates clearly that they have lost the game. Whereas Apple came up with a tablet that broke free from pc based OS by introducing a special OS for tablets (iOS) Microsoft tries to mix old technology with new creating monstrous products as result. Apple created a new category of products with its iPad. iPads maybe not able to do the same things like a pc but on the other hand they are better than a pc for such things like browsing the Internet or chatting on line. Microsoft on the other hand wanted their tablets to do everything and as a result you end up with devices that devour battery life and are bulky - the exact opposite of what a mobile device should be. The failure of Surface and similar hybrid devices is the testimony that Microsoft's vision for the future is wrong.
Now if you consider the fact that 4G and other Gs that will surpass the speed of wifi by several times in the coming years, the big elephant in the room is the CLOUD! I imagine at certain time in the very near future, cloud and 4,5,6 etc G providers would offer a package of apps like photoshop at a flat rate monthly rate. Actually, software companies like photoshop are in danger, too, because many will come up with photoshop like apps and a fraction of the price of photoshop or just given as part of a cloud package. PC and computers will become screens that can connect to the Internet. No need for battery hungry CPU's or graphic cards. Cloud will be like electricity and yours for a few dollars a month. Compare where the computers are heading and what Micrososf has onoffer... Surface. No doubt why Steve Ballmer resigns. It is clear that microSOFT -in other words a software based company that needs the old fashion CPU based devices to instal and run their programs -becomes irrelevant and soon will be extinct. Their Microsoft Office is still the industry standard because until now everybody had to buy a pc. But this is changing fast, too. Even now there are hundreds of apps or cloud services that do word processing and other stuff -many of them free. I just find hard how Microfoft can survive. please, stop talking about xenon flash, honami is NOT a camera phone. it's an all round flagship with good camera. on top of that xenon flash would make the phone thicker - and most people don't want that. the new xenon flash in development will be very thine so the phones will remain thine and will start to be implemented in phones in a year or two from now. conclution: current xenon flash technology failed. nobody really wants current xenon flash. end of story.

U know what...all Sony display LCD n LED uses Samsung n LG panel. Trust me. Sony didn't produce panel anymore

amoled has shorter life, amoled can't be implemented in waterproof phone, triluminos got superior colors. conclution: amoled failed. end of story.

I run a custom rom and custom kernel on my Galaxy S2 and tried to manually fix it by tweaking the gamma (increasing blue). while it DID fix the tint on white for example there was still a green tint on other contrasts. and when I tried to fix those I had to increase the blue of course, which lead to a blue tint on white. also it even depends on the brightness you set. so this definitely isn't as easy to fix with software as you may think. And when the panel is new there is no oversaturation of blue. it's just perfect so that white is really white and grey is really grey, i checked it on my friends S4.
could you link me to some source that proves that OLEDs don't degrade as fast anymore? Because I highly doubt it.
my brother has a very old samsung phone with AMOLED panel (older than galaxy S) and it doesn't have any tints either. He owns this phone since more than 5 years or something. it just depends on how heavy you use it. and I used my S2 quite heavily.
