For normal usage like browsing, video playback, light gaming, office work etc you get 10H+ in modern pc soc.

        I am talking about the market, the market often put ***** screens in laptops, currently even a cheap 24" monitor has better quality than many laptop screens. I am still seeing some 1000 euro laptops and do not even have 100% srgb colour... when it is good it is premium prices, only the Asus vivobook with OLED have a lower price but those are only 60Hz and certainly not with brightness for sunny day or even for bright day shadow have enough nits. Tablets above a certain level around 200 euros price have much better screens than pc laptops.

If it had its likely would have brighter screen even if it run Windows or other pc os. Like newer steam deck peak is 1000 nits and can reach 600 nits in sdr.

          Surface pro oled can reach 960 nits HDR and 560 nits normal, new legion s can reach 500 nits etc.

I can read the screen in the sun with Xiaomi, GSMarena and notebookcheck measured the brightness and it is +800 nits, I believe it is, my former Lenovo tablet has +400 nits and was incapable of being read in the sun. The max you can get in a laptop in 500 and that is a good screen 3x the tablet price. I am not gaming but I use probably 4 hours a day for office, video, mail. Forgot also the silence, ideal to connect to a hi-fi for music.

              Battery life you mention is unrealistic unless you mean standby,

                Hemedans, 06 Feb 2025plenty of windows tablets, surface pro, surface go, lenovo ... moreNone of those windows tablets have 800 nits brightness to be used outside, weight max 600g to be possible 1 hand handling, they don't start almost automatically, they don't last 4-5 days battery and don't charge in 1-1,5 hour. I bought a Xiaomi Pad 6S pro and has been a game changer, pitty Android still not a mature OS.

Yes I found Surface Go 2 and 3 but they are not official and they are used. I want a big brand like Xiaomi to make it and many people will know about it. For Handheld, what if my little sister brings it to school? She needed a tablet for school, watching etc she asked me which is better I would recommend a Windows tablet if there is one.

                          huawei at 3rd isnt different to lenovo or xiaomi, to make it simple 1st apple, 2nd samsung and 3rd huawei - xiaomi - lenovo

                          samsung 18.8% vs huawei 7.3% , thats more than double huawei shares
                          huawei if available globally do have possibility getting more share yes, but to beat samsung, it will take quite some times

                                good from Xiaomi not far from top 3... I want there are brands that make cheap Windows tablets, Android tablets are not that different from phones.... It's so rare why don't any big brands make it?
