Samsung to implement AI in 6G to improve network quality

The latest white paper says 6G will be used for XR, holograms, and fixed wireless access.

    AnonD-1187531, 06 Feb 20255G/6G without unlimited data is straight up useless, AI/no ... moreI have 5G unlimited just only £15 / month.. but the issue is that 5G is not widespread like 4G is.. 5G is fast only in big cities and weak in villages.. and in open nature of the cities switches back to 4G.. so 5G is not expanded becuse is expensive or they just dont want to spend money as they have 4G fallback.. which SUCKS.. so not sure what 6G is for

        Intelligence.. real is better.

          After 5G I realize that they make pipe bigger and bigger, but flow of data is still like in early 4G, and there is no sight of them making it better as AI will probably make it even worst as after all its nothing more than data gathering system straight from the line between user and provider

                          I barely feel the difference between 5G and 4G here in Germany and they want to create 6G AI microwave oven.

                            Samsung's whitepaper is somewhat saying the same thing as I have been saying since years, which is..

                            Well, you're going for increased response speed & bandwidth(!) to an increased number of users (!!) and much higher number of devices per user(!!!). You can't just increase all the variables like this. All this will decrease the range of towers.
                            4G needed more towers, 5G even more.

                            Now, 6G or 7G would be like... Wifi.
                            A tower for every 2-10 homes, with back end being wired, as FWA shows.

                            Only thing being, Samsung's model shows supplementary support by satellite connectivity too, probably where 6G tower can't be accessed...

                            All this does sound like the death of privacy though, if there's anything left in it.

                              instead of just making faster theoretical speeds, they should make 4g or 5g rock solid everywhere instead. whats the use case of 6g if u cant even use it behind a paper wall

                                With the way things stand now, 6G would always be a thing of the future. Unless they provide solutions to the problems of 5G, then there can be no 6G
