Any brand : takes months to give android
People here: That is unacceptable, I have used latrsts android on my pixel since September.

Samsung : has not given A15 yet
Same people : Well, I don't care, stability is what matters .

    No brand had good software support back in those days, only Google and Apple. Now everyone offers at least 4 years, so 2 just doesn't cut it anymore.

      Now people demand brands that sell far less than 1 million phones to afford same costs of software support equaly to brands that sell more than 100 million phones.

      That when Samsung mobile business alone is larger ( by huge margin) than entire Asus corporation.

        I would love to, but no. I really appreciate the 3.5' audio jack, but closed bootloader and two years official support is not acceptable. I would also really like the older reversable camera, to avoid the hole in the screen, that was a clear improvement from the rest, years ago

          Nope, I will not buy this phone, because this is NO Ultra phone dear Asus. An Ultra phone has a much better camera setup in my opinion.

            As a buyer of not one, but two zenfones, I too ponder this question.

            They have nothing to offer, compared to competition - the phone is just as large, just pricey (a couple of bucks doesn't make a difference), but with a weaker hardware and especially software support and no goodies.

            I really do not know who would buy this.

                Now that they've lost the identity of the zenfone (one of the few small-ish flagships), this thing doesn't stand out in ANY way compared to the other hundreds of giant 7 inch slabs of glass.

                Even better - it's mostly worse than all of them.

                        I won't buy anything branded "Asus". They're very bad quality products.

                                I like the rectangular design of the Zenfone 12 Ultra. Any other non-samsung rectangular phones like Pixel 7 and S25 Ultra?

                                  No way I'd pay £1000 for a phone full stop.

                                    So far, Sony and ZTE are the only ones who keep their screens intact (no holes or notches). The ONLY reason I avoid the rest of the brands. The fruit is avoidable regardless.
