Modem-wise, shouldn't be much of a difference real world.

    If Galaxy A36 comes with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Motorola Edge 2025 comes with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, is there a big difference in performance?

    Another question is, is there a big difference in performance between Snapdragon x62 modem and x63 modem?

    The modem is attached to the two chips above.

        a36 seems meh so far, knowing 6 gen 1/6 gen 3/7s gen 2 performance, its not amazing, maybe 7s gen 3 would be nice even though gpu would still be worse than snapdragon 865 still

But still their modems have been better across their entire range in my experience. When I had the A55 I had far more issues with network reception compared to my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.

The 7 and lower chips get a meh hugely neutered modem and ISP. The modem on the 6gen1 has slower LTE and 5G speed than the modem on snapdragon 870.

                              So it's official that all Galaxy A series have been equipped with Snapdragon chipset at least once on their updates' iteration, A3x being the last one. I have already checked them below (I know, it's too much lol)

                              Galaxy A9x series: Snapdragon 855 (A90 & A91 as S10 Lite)
                              Galaxy A8x series: Snapdragon 730G (A80), 855+ (A82 as Quantum 2)
                              Galaxy A7x series: Snapdragon 675 (A70), 730 (A71), 720 (A72), 778G (A73 5G)
                              Galaxy A6x series: Snapdragon 675 (A60)
                              Galaxy A5x series: Snapdragon 720 (A52), 750G (A52 5G), 778G (A52s 5G)
                              Galaxy A4x series: Snapdragon 750G (A42 5G)
                              Galaxy A3x series: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3/ 7s Gen 2 (A36)
                              Galaxy A2x series: Snapdragon 680 (A23 4G), 695 (A23 5G)
                              Galaxy A1x series: Snapdragon 450 (A11)
                              Galaxy A0x series: Snapdragon 439 (A01), 450 (A02), 680 (A05s)

                                6gen3, which is basically just a rebadged 6gen1. This feels more like a sidegrade from the Exynos 1380 than an upgrade. Very disappointing as I was hoping the A36 would get Exynos 1480.

                                    Absolutely LOVE that iphone se is releasing hopefully next week so Samsung will have to rethink overpricing their mid rangers. WOoo.
