The rest of the hardware on Galaxy S vanilla/+ are already in the midranger territory anyway so having a mid chipset would be fitting lol

But going seriously, since SD 8 Gen 2 and Exynos 2400 and DImensity 9200, there are no stable offerings from the makers. All of them suffers from overheat one way or other.

And let me no start with Kirin.

Exynos is manufactured in South Korea. They should impose Tarrifs on SK.

And for another year I'll stay with s23!

Just look at flagship market last year, you could get S24FE below $500 and in many markets S24 was around $600, Samsung which is known to price their phones higher, cost less than Chinese alternative because of Exynos.

High.Tech, 6 hours agoWhy not use Dimensity if they want cost-cutting? Which is a... moreIt's not that much cheaper maybe around $15-$20 less or so. Also if they have capacity to manufacture and have the technology to manufacture high end processors it makes sense to do so or they may have wasted capacity. A lot of R&D investment goes into the manufacturing process. After all only two companies are really capable of manufacturing current flagship level processors, TSMC and Samsung and the R&D investment is huge

For sure there should be an exynos come back, I really love seeing a company I love having its own tech instead of relaying on others products. For example Samsung makes its own displays, batteries, modems, memory chips, and so on. So it would be great if exynos made a come back with powers like those of MD9400, and Samsung should restart it's CPU sector which used to make the exynos M cores instead of relaying on ARM for cores, ARM doesn't want the competition to be better than Apple that's why it was about to cancel Qualcomm's chip license because of oryon cores

samsung in recent years wondering why the sale of their phone is poor & profit is dropping - this flipping back & forth between processor forcing the rest of the world to buy a subpar chipset coz it think put snapdragon in all phone is eating up it profit's. I won't ever buy a samsung phone with the dreaded exynos processor in it. I would look elsewhere if samsung start practicing (us / korea / china snapdragon) ( rest of the world exynos)..it's all bullshit to me coz imagine S25 series have the same format & only 3 region get the elite processor & superb performance plus great battery life while the rest of the world suffer from heat issues & battery life & subpar performance.
samsung should just cancel their mobile chipset division & focus on that they do best. it's clear by now samsung just don't have the expertise to produce a proper chipset like snapdragon or dimensity's

Are all Exynos phones are heating up? My Note 3 (N9005) doesn't heat up at all. My brother's Note 3 (N9000Q) used to heat up more than the core of the sun.
There are many more examples but these for the best examples. Samsung better use Snapdragon an everything...

Nice pricing strategy. Increase pice by using snapdragon processors in alternative years and maintain high price by using scrap in house processor.

Why not use Dimensity if they want cost-cutting? Which is as good as Snapdragon.
