They're the exact same phone, just one is bigger, so I don't know why we're comparing them

DamirE30, 09 Feb 2025"Flagship" with 45w and 25w charging...Don't forget the 8 bit panels, ot the ultra flagship level ultrawide camera with no AF (even budget phones around $300 have it), or the extra small telephoto camera.

DarlingYext, 09 Feb 2025"..the s25 is more attractive. It fills a market void ... moreThe x200pro mini is not barely bigger and it's a lot heavier. Have you held both side by side? Also the x200pro mini is only officially available in China and is missing key bands for Europe like band 20. I live in China but if I buy a flagship I still expect it to have good band coverage as that is a flagship feature of high-end phones. Many people travel to different countries so it's nice to have the bands and I expect them when buying a flagship in China. Xiaomi finally added them to the Xiaomi 15 so I'd expect Vivo to also do this. Note though how I criticized them in my previous post for lack of upgrades but I also have to give them credit for launching such a compact phone when other manufacturers don't have phones that are as compact. For the x200 pro mini I would praise them for their camera hardware but I also think they were a bit stingy with that phone for not giving the full band coverage, a short focal fingerprint sensor and the V2 ISP which is two generations. Also they withhold certain software features from the camera app (e.g. no Dolby vision). They call it pro but withhold quite a few 'pro' features

Samsung didn't invest on R & D to improve the product, but investing heavily on advertisement to fool customers.

So if it's the only phone in a category, then is it okay for Samsung to keep 99% of the specs every year, and just change the SoC? Every spec of the base S series is just getting more and more midrange every year, the cameras for example, for the price are absolutely below par, so is the battery, and the charging speed, and even display is only okay. Just being okay shouldn't be acceptable for a flagship.
*Plus I disagree with this as well, the vivo X200 Pro mini is barely bigger, if one can handle either, they should be able to easily handle the other one as well.

For me the s25 is more attractive. It fills a market void for smaller flagship series phones. There is no competition really in the Android sphere at least for phones at the same size and weight and the video quality is excellent. The smallest phones from other brands are significantly bigger and much heavier. The disappointing thing is the lack of camera upgrades. Main sensor is OK but I think a 50mp 3x telephoto, even a jn5 would have made a nice upgrade and maybe the same or similar ultrawide but with autofocus. Pricing in Europe is also very competitive especially with the various launch and trade in deals available (actually no increase from the previous generation which is good). Pricing in many Asian countries though is a little too high compared to competitors. Still, I personally hope it does very well as I want to see smaller compact phones sell well as it may encourage other brands to offer more compact phones and increase the competition

"There's definitely plenty to love about the Korean giant's new flagship lineup."
Definitely not the midrange phone level cameras, or the slow charging speeds, or the smaller than average batteries, or the lower than average display resolution of the S25, or the removed Bluetooth functionality of the S Pen of the S25 Ultra.

I'm sorry, but those two are not flagships. They are pretenders to be flagships. Remove cpu with ram and they're no better than A55.
