DerLuke, 5 hours agoAbsolutely. In no way and in no life I'd pay 1000+ Eur... moreExcept the "their Software and applications are horrible imitation of Samsung or Apple ones" problem where I don't really mind as long as it's not buggy (the HyperOS one from Xiaomi is quite buggy, however. And oh yeah this is not true to some companies like Motorola and Asus), I never got any problems that you mentioned above. At least in my experiences, it just works.

SonuRathore, 6 hours agoIn india s25 ultra price is almost double of OnePlus 13It all depends on where you live and buy, for example in Poland price is the same as a Samsung device, which automatically eliminates chance of someone buying OnePlus in my country.
Strange policy of OnePlus, especially since in this budget I don't know anyone who would consider buying their device, everyone will choose Apple or Samsung XD

The pricing is really agressive In Europe for 13 series, we pay a lof money for Chinese notorious brand phone.. majority will buy iPhone or Samsung flagship for similar price in Euro zone..

If you're talking about a Poco for 200 euros, you might be right. Otherwise, you're far from the truth.
Tell me again about the reboots and 24/7 work, I'm interested. We know about Samsung and their 24/7 BootLoop in an attempt to charge. 🤣🤣

Tomek Bomek, 7 hours agoOneplus decided to price itself out of western markets, esp... moreThat's just incorrect. Maybe you are referring to some deal on the s25 ultra but the official price of Oneplus 13 is much cheaper. It's €999 for the base 12gb 256gb. This is far less than the s25 ultra official launch price of €1449 for the base 12gb 256gb s25 ultra. The pricing is cheaper than the s25+ which is €1149 for 12gb 256gb. The only cheaper model of the s25 series is the Samsung s25 which is around €949 for 12gb 256gb Launch price is competitive with other brands. It's the same as the launch price of the Vivo x200 for example (with better specifications across the board) and the same as the launch price of the Xiaomi 14 (which was also €999 euro so the Xiaomi 15 will also be at least €999.

Tomek Bomek, 7 hours agoOneplus decided to price itself out of western markets, esp... moreAbsolutely. In no way and in no life I'd pay 1000+ Euro for a device, which offers "some" international cellular band, some translated software and promised features, which will require me learning Chinese (at least if it was properly supporting Japanese i wouldn't mind) It's always something important that isn't working, it's always not properly supported, it's just vague promises. No matter if it's OnePlus or anything else.
One search in Amazon opinions and you can see how those Chinese phones work:
-google auto most likely won't work
-their Software and applications are horrible imitation of Samsung or Apple ones. At the level of insulting the buyer.
-camera qr code reader throws Chinese characters (poco x7 pro even)
- phone dialer has issues with dtmf tones and auto answers robots/reception systems..
-will your bank or 2fa app isn't ok? PayPal, revolut, etc?
-cell reception.. let's just say one lte band 20 doesn't make a phone "international" or "global".
-full with ads and requirements to register to 10 Chinese sites and ask in specific Chinese time for something, that will never happen..
List can go on. Bottom line is - Chinese fan gang here can spam 24x7x356 cursing 10000 times under same threads, but that doesn't change the fact that in Europe we are paying for "working as advertised " devices, not for empty spec sheets and vague "trust me it's fluid" , "trust me it's better " statements.
The better device is the properly working device. 24x7x356 with no need to restart, no need to tweak, no need to think of. It's a tool - when you reach for it and it doesn't deliver in next 2-3 sec, then it's trash. For 1000-1200 Euro. End of story
