I am not into AI photography.
I will buy Vivo X200 Ultra.
Yes, it also uses AI image processing, but only in darker places and big zooms.
In bright places it uses normal image processing, same image processing like in real cameras, for example Canon EOS R1.
I prefer normal image processing pixels aka the white dots.
I have seen videos where people talk about phone AI cameras and 1 of them actually researched deeper and according to his research AI image processing deletes small details, like hair and knuckles.
That's a big no no, to me.
And AI image processing looks like a chalkboard painting, in my opinion.
I own Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra.
Well, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is my daily driver, but I also bought it to PROVE a point, that Samsung fell off!!!!
Ouch.
New camera king came and destroyed Samsung!!!!!
And yes, in pro mode, Vivo X100 Ultra uses 0 AI image processing and 0 post processing!!!!
That means, Vivo X100 Ultra uses normal image processing even in darker places.
I use ISO at 50 and slow shutter speeds!!!!
Normal image processing is still the king!!!!!
That's why so many small megapixel camera brands still don't use AI!!!!

I use 200MP mode a lot and I am in love!!!!
I love landscape photography!!!!!!
I don't take night photos and if sun gets blocked by the clouds, I will use pro mode.
ISO 50 and slow shutter speeds.
Sadly 200MP mode doesn't work in Pro mode, but 50MP is still good enough!!!!!
A tripod if needed, of course.

I have very little hope of the 1 incher for returning, seems like everyone is holding on on bringing the best to the market

I personally prefer the alert slider on both the iphone... this is a disappointment. The Alert Switch is super helpful when you're in public.

Like I think they have the best processing philosophy (at least in daytime), the only gripes i have at night time is that their noise reduction is too aggressive and there's little to no details in most occasions. However, even that could've been forgiven.
What's completely unforgivable is the HDR halo that subjects have around them in extreme scenarios. It's been there since the Oneplus 11/Oppo Find X6 Pro and I'm sick of it. Oppo's processing in every other department is quite elegant but in this scenario they struggle like this? It's a 5/10 shot by itself but the shots feel even worse because the Oppo takes 8-10/10 shots each time. The downgrade in quality is noticeable.
If they could've fixed the aggressive night time Noise Reduction and the high contrast HDR subject haloing issues, this would've been phone of the year despite the X200 Ultra being there. As it stands I can't recommend Oppo to some camera enthusiast NOR a point and shoot normie.

Oppo not beating the O-Phone allegations. Sad that they're focusing on changing the slider to a button instead of adding a dedicated camera shutter BUTTON on an Ultra phone. Cringe.
