People here have no idea who's buying these phones, which phones they're upgrading from and how old those are, still they're willing argue that their decision was wrong. I mean, not every single one of these orders came from people who were already using s24. What do you know? What do I know? Why does it matter? The arguments here are through the roof.

They are selling because all the S25 line has Snapdragon while S24 line (except Ultra) in India had Exynos, that's the reason the sale has gone up in India. Not all people buy the most expensive phone and since the vanilla and the plus in S25 got snapdragon there you have it of course sales will go up.

This is the reason basically why Samsung has stopped paying any heed towards customers' expectations and needs. They know no matter what their S series phones will always have bumper sales.

DarlingYext, 10 Feb 2025Quite the opposite. It's a rhetorical question. If it's not the case, I don't see why you or anyone should worry about how many people buy Samsung products. You can just keep buying and using what you think are nice things. It's like you worry that many people eat junk food when you can eat high-quality food.

Wow, s25+ is not available for order online. Is it made to create hype in market. All S25 series are too expensive for their specs. Only good thing is they used snapdragon instead of Exynos.

kdss, 10 Feb 2025Good numbers, but I'll keep my congratulations for now... moreLike Samsung cares..
This is company that sold 40 millions units of Android premium flagship last year.
You'd rather give congratulation to OnePlus for finally surpassing 5 units of flagship sales this year, also dont forget to give appreciation to OnePlus for being the only brand with exclusive premium greenline feature.
Little appreciation is really important for small brand like OnePlus.👍

Peter, you said "Samsung is catering to the local market – Galaxy S25 phones sold in India are manufactured locally at the Noida factory. Also, Gemini Live was available with Hindi support at launch. The company also expanded the network of stores that sell its phones to reach smaller cities."
You said the above but you didn't mention how were the pre order bonuses this year.

Higher no. of pre-orders don't mean higher sales.
This year was the most disappointing release in Samsung's history.
The S25 Ultra won't beat the total sales of the the S24 Ultra
