Yeah, well even some midrange phones have such setup. What matters is the sensors and additional features. Most importantly AF on the ultrawide, both for macro shots and better ultrawide pictures, and that's something only the iPhone has. All three sensors are much bigger ones on the iPhone than on the Galaxy, main and ultrawide are bigger than even what the S25 Ultra has.

potato4k, 16 Feb 2025Amazing that the S25 is the king of compact and light phone... moreThe 16 Pro has aluminum mid chassis and titanium frame. Not a titanium "paint Job." Titanium is heavier than Aluminum and has significantly worse thermals. They need to just go 7075 on all iPhones and ditch the exotic materials for the Pro.

We didn't read the same article ? It is not too far behind, but very close.
Like I said before, according to GSMArena article, they are close in terms of:
- Screen: The iPhone is brighter, but it has a larger punch-hole.
- Battery life: S25 13 hours (in standard performance profile) vs. iPhone 16 Pro 14 hours.
- Charging speed: S25 full in 77 minutes vs. iPhone in 98 minutes.
- Speakers: Similar for average users.
- Performance: The S25 has slightly more RAM, but it is Android; the S25 is ahead in Geekbench and 3DMark results.
- Camera: Both have main, ultrawide, and zoom lenses (one is 3x and the other 5x). The iPhone is slightly better, but both are very good for average users.
The S25 lacks UWB, and satellite connectivity, but it is much lighter and thinner.
Also, One UI 7 is better in terms of customization, multitasking, and AI, and it has DeX mode. For example, the new AI object remover is far superior to the ios one.
And the S25 comes at a lower price point.

What are you on about? The reason I'm buying Chinese phones is because they offer what I want and I what I need, not because they are cheaper. Samsung offers nothing I need, but neither does Apple, however I would choose an iPhone if only these two brands existed, but only then would I choose an iPhone, and that's just simply not the case. My main device is a vivo X Note that I bought brand new, look it up, whether you like it, or not, it was and still is an expensive phone. Money isn't an issue, specs are.

Plus neither of these phones are cheap, and they aren't even cheaper than their predecessors either. For the same price you can easily get 256GB or even 512GB storage on other flagship phones, especially because no other brand offers 128GB on their flagships, apart from these two, and Google. Not to mention that on these phones, 128GB storage is actually slower than 256GB would be.

The base iPhone 16 lacks the S25's 120Hz display, zoom lens, faster USB (USB 2.0), and superior performance. The S25 offers a better experience, especially compared to the base iPhone 16 (closer to the pro model), and at a more competitive price.

iPhone is definitely the better device overall.
Especially if you compare the S25 to the regular iPhone, not the Pro, because then the price difference disappears. When you realise you’re getting better support, repairs, accessories and resale value with iPhone, you’ll see it’s actually cheaper because you get money back when you sell it.
